Job Description - Sales Operations Manager

The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with and report to the VP of Sales to build and maintain tools, processes, and data that enables an efficient and successful Sales and Account Management organization. You will provide CRM systems oversight of SFDC (, including, reporting, data management, and workflows to comply with the sales process.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail and process oriented individual focused on meeting the needs of a growing and dynamic sales team by driving efficiencies and improvements. In addition, this person will have the ability to manage and support a team of direct reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Analytics and Operations
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel and Salesforce
  • Comfortable with learning new technology
  • Ability to drive accountability and support direct reports
  • Strong history of successful project management experience

  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, and Sales/Account Management leadership to proactively identify and address process gaps and areas for improvement
  • Implement and enforce processes, infrastructure, and tools that enable success, smooth collaboration with adjacent departments, and clear visibility into Sales performance
  • Own and measure (KPI) Key Performance Indicators
  • Coordinate with Sales, Account Management and other departments to provide meaningful reporting, metrics, and analyses that deliver key business insights
  • Maintain and constantly evaluate territories, account and lead assignments, quotas, and comp plans to keep the Sales and Account Management teams aligned with broader company objectives
  • Onboarding coordination of Account Executives and Account Managers
  • Lead a team that provides operational support to Events, Customer Care and Marketing
  • Monthly and quarterly commission reporting and tracking
  • Actively manage workload and priorities for sales analysts, including CRM projects, reporting tools, customer needs, and ad-hoc business needs
  • Coaching, mentoring, and ongoing development of direct reports to build strength across the sales operations organization
