The Value of Time

ReadyTalk is committed to helping non-profits improve the lives of others. In addition to supporting organizations with money and service, ReadyTalk employees make a difference with their time.

Giving Back

The ReadyTalk culture is one that emphasizes employees’ roles in the community and the importance of their involvement in non-profit organizations. The Charitable Contributions Committee is an employee-driven committee that has full support and financial backing from the company.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night

ReadyTalk and its employees donated thousands of dollars to supporting the cause and then came out to participate in an evening of events.

The committee supports non-profit organizations that create a positive impact on the community and support education and the environment. The committee focuses on employee-supported organizations that are based in the Colorado Front Range and serve financially disadvantaged populations. Annually, the committee donates more than $60,000 to organizations meeting these criteria. Management empowers the committee to identify and select the organizations that receive the funds.

In addition to the $60,000 donated by the committee, ReadyTalk matches all employee donations up to $500 per year. This gives employees the opportunity to select causes that they are passionate about and have their financial donations matched.

Habitat for Humanity

With 20 hours of paid time for volunteering, ReadyTalk employees have enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, Open World Learning and other organizations.

In addition to financial support, ReadyTalk encourages employees to donate their time as well. Every employee is given 20 hours per year to spend volunteering. Volunteer opportunities are organized by the Charitable Contributions Committee and employees are also encouraged to seek out organizations they are passionate about. Managers strongly encourage employees to take advantage of both the donation matching as well as the volunteer hours.
