What Your Webinar Platform Should Have

A couple of weeks ago Ken Molay wrote a great blog post, Conversion Features For Webinar Technologies. He expanded on a post by Brian Massey, which explores what features and experiences customers should expect from webinar vendors (among others). Ken outlines the elements that he believes should be available to every webinar organizer and I agree. I also think the timing of this week’s launch of the Eloqua Cloud Connectors for ReadyTalk couldn’t be better, since it addresses and expands on... Read More » » read more

Guest Post: With Free Apps, You Get What You Pay For

By Melanie Turek, Industry Director, Frost & Sullivan One of the biggest topics of discussion in IT circles these days is the so-called “consumerization” of IT. The idea is that unlike in the past, when most people were introduced to new technology at work and then adopted it at home as prices allowed, these days, employees are just as likely to first adopt new technology at home, then bring it into work as needs demand. We are seeing this trend around devices, such as mobile phones and tablets,... Read More » » read more

Why the Press Release is Alive and Well

I just read, RIP, the Press Release (1906 – 2010)—and Long Live the Tweet, in which Simon Dumenco discusses why he feels the press release has been replaced by tweets. The article is especially timely since I have two press releases to write today. Perhaps in the celebrity world press releases should be retired. After all, I don’t need to read 300 words on a celebrity’s recent escapades if it can be shared in 180 characters. But, I definitely don’t think the press release is dead for the rest of...Read More » » read more

Considering Customer Service Before You Buy

Someone recently told me that a person who has a bad customer service experience will repeat the story five times. Meanwhile, if they have a positive experience, they only repeat the story once. There are lots of experts, blogs and books on word-of-mouth marketing on how to get customer talking about a positive experience. But, how do you get prospects to think about customer service before they make a decision? ReadyTalk’s audio and web conferencing is supported by some of the best customer... Read More » » read more
