The expanded showing button reveals several conference management options.
Stop showing the current presentation.
Grant control of the application to another participant or co-presenter.
Present Slides: Change back to slide presentation
Show my desktop: Shows your desktop
Show my applications: Displays the application selection box
Stop Showing: Switches presentation back in to slide presentation mode.
You can grant control of your desktop
Or, grant control of an application. This will launch the grant control selection box.
The Not
Showing 
button has similar functionality. Click on the button to see the options.

button can also be expanded to provide similar options as the Showing/Not
