Scheduler for Outlook Troubleshooting Information
Microsoft has acknowledged that integrated features such as the ReadyTalk Scheduler for Outlook can cause a few minor issues. Below are some easy ways to fix them.
User may experience:
- Disappearance of the ReadyTalk Conferencing button from the toolbar
- Disappearance of the options for Meeting Request and Setup Screen
- The Meeting Request, Setup Screen options and the ReadyTalk Conferencing button may still appear but do not respond or function
Solutions:
- Close Microsoft Outlook and then reopen it. You do not need to reboot your PC.
- Check if Microsoft Outlook is running in the Processes tab of the Task Manager on your desktop. The process name is OUTLOOK.EXE. Select and choose "End Process," then reopen Microsoft Outlook.

- Shut down Microsoft Outlook at the end of the day
- Ensure security patches for Microsoft Outlook are up to date
