Configuring Windows Vista for ReadyTalk

Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Vista have security features that reduce the risk of threats from untrusted content on the internet. In order to use all features of ReadyTalk's web conferencing application, you will need to list the web conferencing service as a "Trusted" site. The following steps will guide you through adding this web conferencing service to your list of trusted web sites.

  1. Click on the "Tools" icon in the Internet Explorer toolbar and select "Internet Options":

  2. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the "Security" tab. Click on the icon labeled "Trusted Sites", and then click the "Sites" button to edit the list of trusted sites.

  3. In the Trusted Sites dialog box, enter
    https://*.callinfo.com
    in the field labeled "Add this website to the zone:" and then click the "Add" button.

  4. The site you just typed will now be displayed in the list of trusted sites. Click the "Close" button to return to the Internet Options dialog box, and then click "OK". Finally, exit Internet Explorer and relaunch it. You will now be able to connect to the ReadyTalk web conferencing service.
