ReadyTalk Associate User Experience Designers are responsible for partnering with a UX Designer, designing products, and seeing them through implementation. It is a demanding and rewarding role. We work closely with users, product managers and engineering to get input and feedback that influences product design to ensure we build products that meet our users’ needs, add value to our business, and are technically feasible. The ultimate Associate User Experience Designer has outstanding software design skills, strong follow-through, and excels at communicating with a variety of people. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years experience in an Associate User Experience Designer or equivalent role
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and practices
  • Ability to balance user needs, technology constraints, and business goals to create a useful, usable, and desirable product
  • Excellent interaction and user interface design skills, including creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes in a highly collaborative environment
  • Experience designing applications across mobile, web, and desktop platforms; responsive design experience is a plus
  • Experience with workflow analysis and application of best practices
  • Working knowledge of Adobe products, Sketch or other wireframing/prototyping/design tools
  • Experience with user research and testing is a plus
  • Strong conceptualization and visual design abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in an iterative, collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across a variety of audiences
  • Adaptability, may not know everything but becomes the local expert quickly

Responsibilities:

  • Support UX Designers in concepting, wireframes, visual designs, and delivering assets for development teams.
  • Assist with planning and conducting user research.
  • Design and analyze usage metrics to inform product design decisions.
  • Support definition of a common visual language between marketing materials and software products.
