New from ReadyTalk – Quick Share My Desktop

Hot off the press – we've just released an enhancement to our Quick Launcher product (available on Windows today and Mac next week). The Quick Share feature enables you to start your meeting directly in Share Desktop mode. We've heard loud and clear that our users want to start desktop sharing as quick as possible to support those quick ad-hoc meetings or sales demos where time is of the essence. We're excited to announce we're now able to provide up to 20% faster desktop sharing launch times with Quick Share. Get started with Quick Share in a few easy steps:

  1. Download the ReadyTalk Quick Launcher
  2. Enter your ReadyTalk account credentials
  3. Check the box next to "Quick Share My Desktop"
  4. Click "Open Meeting Controls"

(Note:Quick Launcher will remember these settings so future meetings will also start in this mode until you uncheck the box.)

As a reminder when you start in Quick Share mode you will be sharing your entire desktop at the start of the meeting. This means participants see everything on your computer desktop. If this is undesirable you can always switch to single application sharing (Window's only). Simply click the share your desktop or individual applications button in the control bar (pictured below) and select your desired application.

What do you think of this feature? What else would you like to see in Quick Launcher? Let us know in the comments!
