This dog-friendly atmosphere provided the perfect incubator to create a passionate team for this year’s Furry Scurry, an annual walk that raises money for Denver’s largest animal shelter. Over the course of several weeks, ReadyWoof team members actively raised money from friends and family, utilizing targeted email and Facebook campaigns and held an irresistible company-wide bake sale to raise $2,615.00. On Saturday, May 7th, team members decked out their dogs in custom ReadyTalk collars and leashes and joined 10,000 other pet lovers to help the Dumb Friends League help 25,000 homeless pets this year!
ReadyTalk’s Charitable Contributions Committee played an important role in the fundraising. This employee-driven committee has the full support and financial backing from the company. The committee supports non-profit organizations that create a positive impact on the community, support education, and the environment with a focus on employee-supported organizations, the Colorado Front Range, and financially disadvantaged populations. The committee provides both financial and in-kind support to organizations.
Additionally, ReadyTalk employees are able to contribute up to 20 hours of volunteer work during regular business hours each year and ReadyTalk matches employee donations to non-profit organizations up to a total $500 per year per employee.
Tracy focuses on channel and partner marketing at ReadyTalk, building out marketing programs to recruit partners and reinforce engagement with them. When she’s not coming up with marketing plans she likes to compete in canine freestyle Frisbee and ride her Ninja motorcycle.
